ASCOT, BERKSHIRE, ENGLANDJUNE 18, 2015: At Ladies’ Day at Royal Ascot, two ‘blood-streaked and scarred’ horse campaigners dramatically make the point that horses pay a heavy price for punters’ harmless flutter. At last year’s meeting in Berkshire, four horses died during the four-day event. The two campaigners, who are the ‘star attraction’ for the Animal Aid protest, are hoping for a less bloody end this year. They are:
Victoria Eisermann, former model, CEO and co-founder of K-9 Angels and radio host, and Pola Pospieszalska, a Polish pop star, co-founder of K-9 Angels, and animal rights activist.
